Terminal Moraine
2012
Charcoal on Paper, Cast Plaster
124” x 240” x 6”
A terminal moraine is the farthest extent of matter pushed by a glacier before it begins to recede. Installed at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum (the foundation of which sits on the terminal moraine known as Cape Cod), two large sheets of paper are brushed with charcoal to be both void and mass, pushing on a strip of cast plaster mounted to the wall.
